Jake Borton

Jake Borton

Trainer

Jake is a born and raised Orlando resident who had a passion for sports and being active from an early age. Golf was and still remains a huge part of his life, as he grew up traveling the country for tournaments and played professionally out of college. At UCF, he began his studies as an engineering student, but eventually changed his major to one he was more excited about in their Sport and Exercise Science program. Biomechanics became a main focus for him as he found it to be the perfect blend of engineering and fitness.

Jake's initial draw to the gym came after a hip injury in high school that caused him to miss nearly a year of sports. He extensively researched ways to alleviate his pain and avoid surgery. Through hard work and a strong base of knowledge, Jake was able to get back into proper shape and become stronger than before without any of the lingering pain that caused him to be on the sidelines for so long. His mission to help others through health and fitness began here, leading him to eventually obtain his CPT in 2018 and eventually make it a full time career in 2020.

Jake chose to be a trainer because of the positive effect that fitness had on his life, an effect he aims to provide for each client. He takes pride in having a guiding role in someone’s journey to health and strength.
